Adam J. Farrar |
In an era that places a premium on “specialists” who concentrate in a single area of the law, Adam understands that the people, families & businesses of a community need a lawyer with a broad array of skills, knowledge & experience. Adam is committed to the idea that a community lawyer needs to be flexible, efficient, responsive & capable of tackling the varied & complex challenges that his clients face day-to-day.
After graduating from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Adam aspired to return to Posey County to establish his practice. Before joining Van Haaften & Farrar, He was afforded the unique opportunity to practice in the county-seat of Mt. Vernon, while also working for the largest law firm in Southern Indiana. The experience offered him the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, from multi-million dollar transactions to small claims litigation.
Adam is proud of his involvement in the Posey County Community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Posey County Economic Development Partnership, the Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana, and 21st Century Leadership of Posey County. He also serves as Poultry Superintendent at the Posey County 4-H Fair.
Adam lives just outside New Harmony, where he keeps a small flock of poultry & enjoys life in rural Posey County.
